What a tense race that was! I’m Frank Base, and this is Thomas Gumball, here to give a recap on the first leg of the Tasmanian Racing Tournament. Welcome to the Base and Gumball Show! Tom, how did you see the first race?
Frank, I’m still trying to catch my breath after that one. Can you believe that five cars broke down at the same time, meaning it was really a race to see who could get the fastest car repair? And the genius of Percy Rein to call out a mobile mechanic from the Brighton area! He really deserved the win on this one.
You can say that again, Tom. Percy absolutely deserved this victory. He was an underdog, but it was his smarts that got him across the line first. While all the other drivers lined up at various mechanics throughout the Brighton area, Percy had one come straight to him and was on his way in no time at all.
We should give a shout out to all of the Brighton auto electrical businesses, though. They did a fantastic job getting our racers back on the road so that they could all complete the race. It’s just such a shame about your hot favourite, Ryan Thyme.
Indeed, may he be driving fast on the great racetrack in the sky. For anyone who didn’t see the big race, Ryan Thyme’s engine had some intense heating issues, and the RV went kaboom. At least the fireworks were pretty!
Absolutely, they were, Frank. Tell me, what are you looking forward to in the next race?
Well, there’s this exciting storyline emerging between two racers. Husband and wife, Terry and Marcy, have decided to settle a dispute by seeing who wins (or survives) the competition. I’m not sure what the exact issue is, but perhaps we can find out and inform our readers before the next race begins.
This is Frank Base and Thomas Gumball, signing off.
