Hello everyone! I am Steven James, Director of Studies at ABILITY education. Thank you for visiting our website. The teachers at our school are very friendly and enthusiastic. They will help you learn English very quickly. We have innovative learning-to-speak methods in our class rooms. And we have students from a lot of different countries in our classes. ＡＢＩＬＩＴＹ Educationは多国籍な環境の中で使える英語を学習できる学校です。授業ではテキストの他にも実生活に役立つような教材を先生が用意してくれるのも助かります。また発言する機会が多いため、スピーキングを通じて基礎をしっかりと固めることができ、自然と日常会話が身に付くので、学校外でも実際にスピーキング力の伸びを実感できます。 私は日本の大学でロボット工学を学んでいましたが、英語の必要性を感じ、大学を一年間休学して語学留学することを決意しました。以前は苦手だった英語が 、一般英語コースで学習したことで、得意科目と言えるほどまでレベルアップできました。将来は英語の使えるロボットエンジニアになることがも目標なので、今後はケンブリッジコースに変更し、ライティングを含めたより総合的な英語力のブラッシュアップを狙っています。

I will introduce my fantastic homestay life. My house is in North Manly. There is a large park and a big shopping center near my house. Also there is a beautiful beach named Manly beach near my house. Usually I go to school by ferry. It takes about one hour from my house to school. I can see the Opera house and the Harbour Bridge from ferry everyday. And I can use bus from my house to school too. It takes about forty minutes. My life in Sydney is very busy to enjoy. At present, my host family consist of five people, my host father-John, a Japanese girl, a Spanish boy, a dog, and me. School finish at 3:20, then I go back home. Frequently John takes us to the beach now. I try body board. Sometimes we go to the beach at night. We can swim under a lot of stars and the moon. It is so beautiful. At dinner, we talk about various things. My host father tells us many things. We eat dinner at outside on the deck at 7:00. On the weekend, I frequently go to shopping, go to beach and so on with my friend. And sometimes we do barbeque with our family. My homestay life is full of many interesting experience. And I can learn the other side of Australian culture.

ABILITY education は、とても多国籍の生徒がいる学校です。いろいろな国の友達ができその文化を知ることができます。日本人が少ないのも英語を学習するには絶好の環境です。 　また文化祭・シドニー湾クルーズパーティー・BBQなどのイベントも盛りだくさんなので、授業以外の時間もとても充実しています。 自分は現在３ヶ月くらいここで学んでいますが、今はアドバンストコースに進み、TOEICの模擬試験でも９００点以上をマークすることができ、とても満足しています。これも楽しく長く通学できる環境があるAG　Mate だから出来たことだと思います。 今後はEAPコースに変更し、来年度のTAFEのビジネスコースの進学へ向けて更なるステップアップを目指します！
